A woman named Iyabo Sowunmi was arrested in Ogun State, Nigeria, for trying to smuggle illegal drugs into a prison where her son, Dare Sowunmi, is on death row. She attempted to bring these drugs into the Medium Security Custodial Centre in Abeokuta. The Nigerian Correctional Service confirmed her arrest.
