The Federal Government has appointed a United States-based academic and physician, Dr Olugbenga A. Awe, as the new Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State. The appointment was contained in a statement made available to The PUNCH on Monday. The letter conveying the appointment was signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Education.
