The Chief Medical Director of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), Prof. Ida Ize-Iyamu, announced that the hospital's Cancer Treatment Centre is now 100 percent operational and one of the biggest in Nigeria. He made this disclosure during the commissioning of a state-of-the-art ambulance in Benin. Prof. Ize-Iyamu appreciated President Bola Tinubu for allowing the centre to be sited at UBTH and expressed gratitude for federal support under the Renewed Hope Agenda. He pledged judicious use of the ambulance to enhance emergency services.
