A Federal High Court in Lagos has restrained the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) from shutting down Dangote Petroleum Refinery under the guise of performing oversight functions. The order was granted by Justice Akintayo Aluko in a motion ex-parte filed by Dangote's lawyers, led by Olawale Akoni, SAN. The court order prevents NMDPRA from enforcing, implementing, or giving full effect to any action that would disrupt the refinery's operations. The suit is marked FHC/L/CS/1174/26.
