The federal government has assured Nigerians in Angola that efforts to tackle insecurity and revive the economy are yielding results. Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Musa, pledged stronger measures to secure the country's borders and defeat emerging threats during an engagement with the Nigerian community in Luanda, Angola, on the sidelines of the 21st Extraordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union. The meeting was coordinated by the Chairman/CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa. Additionally, troops have killed over 324 terrorists, apprehended 373, and rescued 21 victims in Kogi in one month, while police have dismantled criminal hideouts and bandits killed an APC chieftain in Kano.
