The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has announced that the $300 helicopter levy for air navigational services will remain in force after a ministerial review. The commission clarified that upstream operators will not pay Terminal Navigational Charges for landings at private offshore facilities. The decision follows stakeholder concerns and was communicated in a circular signed by Commission Chief Executive Mrs. Oritsemeyiwa Eyesan.
