Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has described the opening of Premium Trust Bank's second branch in Yenagoa as a sign of growing investor confidence in the state's economy. Diri made this statement while commissioning the branch located around the Etegwe/Edepie roundabout axis. He noted that the expansion comes as Bayelsa anticipates the commencement of its 60-megawatt independent power plant, which is expected to boost businesses and industries. The governor said improved electricity supply would stimulate enterprise, attract new investments, create jobs, and improve living standards.
