Avoid empty promises, hate speech, Mark charges ADC gov’ship candidates

Senator David Mark, National Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has advised the party's governorship candidates to avoid hate speech and empty promises during campaigns for the 2027 elections. Speaking at a consultation meeting in Abuja, Mark emphasized that the party's campaign should reflect the kind of country ADC aims to build. He warned against ethnic or religious profiling and violence, stating that ADC does not believe 'all is fair in politics.' The former Senate President urged candidates to adhere to the party's Governance and Ethical Principles.
