The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has summoned former Bayelsa State Governor Timipre Sylva for questioning over an alleged $14.86 million fraud case. EFCC spokesman Dele Oyewale stated that Sylva has been declared wanted and should make himself available to the commission. This follows Sylva's resignation from the All Progressives Congress, announced on Monday, in which he accused the party's leadership of abandoning its founding principles and criticized the performance of the APC-led Federal Government.
