Isuan Agro Estate Ltd recently hosted the first Land Banker Summit in Abuja to help Nigerians learn more about real estate and investment. The company's managing director, Ohimai Abraham, organized the event to address the lack of knowledge among people regarding real estate. He emphasized that many Nigerians are unaware of how to identify and invest in genuine properties, partly due to fear and misinformation. Abraham pointed out that owning land is not just for the wealthy; he encouraged everyone, regardless of their financial situation, to consider buying land, even in less developed areas, as these places can become valuable in the future. He believes that land ownership can significantly improve people's lives. The summit also highlighted the need for better infrastructure from the government, which can help increase property values, especially in developing areas like Karshi in Abuja. Additionally, Newton Ovie, from the Network for Agricultural Technical Education of Nigeria, mentioned that land can be used to enhance food security and create wealth. He suggested that low-income individuals should consider forming groups or cooperatives to buy land together, making it more affordable for everyone.
