The governors of Benue and Plateau states, Caleb Mutfwang and Hyacinth Alia, are asking for better teamwork among regions to improve safety and security in North-central Nigeria. They believe that communities should play a bigger role in keeping their areas safe. This call for cooperation was made during a security summit held in Makurdi.
