The Nigerian government has decided that all universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education in the country must take part in a national ranking system. This new rule was announced by the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, during a meeting in Abuja. Previously, the ranking was only for universities, but now it includes all types of higher education institutions.
