The Zamfara State Government has begun consultations with stakeholders for the preparation of the 2027 budget. Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Prof. Yahaya Zakari, made the call at a town hall meeting for the Zamfara Central Senatorial Zone held at the College of Arts and Science (ZACAS) Hall in Gusau. He said the engagement is part of Governor Dauda Lawal's commitment to inclusive, transparent and citizen-driven governance. Zakari stressed that citizen participation ensures government policies and projects reflect the actual needs and priorities of the people.
