Shein shares fall in Hong Kong debut after long-awaited IPO

Shein, a well-known fast-fashion company, had a disappointing start when it launched its shares on the Hong Kong stock market. The shares were priced at HK$48.56 each, and the company raised about HK$13.6 billion (which is around $1.7 billion or £1.3 billion). Despite this significant amount, the shares fell in value during the debut, which was not what the company had hoped for after trying for years to go public.
