Kwara assembly suspends two members, declares seats vacant

The Kwara State House of Assembly has decided that two of its members, Saaba Issa Gideon and Olusola Odetundun, will no longer hold their positions. This is because they switched political parties, leaving the All Progressives Congress to join the Peoples Democratic Party. The assembly made this decision during a meeting on Tuesday. Gideon and Odetundun represent the Edu and Irepodun areas, respectively.
