After the attack, Abubakar took the motorcycle and went to another town, but the police were able to track down the stolen bike and arrest him. The police have said that Abubakar is cooperating with their investigation, and the case is now being handled by a special department for further investigation and legal action. The police commissioner condemned the attack, stating that such violence against motorcycle riders or any citizen will not be tolerated.
