WIOCC Group, a major digital infrastructure company in Africa, has secured a $300 million investment from Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) and Vision International Investment Company (Vision Invest). This agreement was signed during the LEAP 2026 Global Technology exhibition in Riyadh and marks an important step for WIOCC as it aims to enhance digital infrastructure across Africa. WIOCC operates in over 30 African countries and has built one of the continent's largest open-access digital platforms, helping businesses connect and provide reliable digital services. The support from AFC and Vision Invest will allow WIOCC to expand its network, improve data center services, and invest in new technologies, which is essential for Africa's growing digital economy. Leaders from AFC and Vision Invest expressed their commitment to helping Africa develop its digital capabilities and infrastructure, which are vital for economic growth and innovation. This partnership aims to bridge the digital divide and enhance connectivity for businesses and communities throughout the continent.
