The National Laureate Committee has pushed back the deadline for schools to submit their research entries for the 2026 National Laureate Programme. It focuses on outstanding undergraduate, master's, and doctoral research. Each school can submit up to 18 research works: six from undergraduates, six from master's students, and six from PhD candidates. There is also a significant prize fund of 365 million Naira to support this initiative, which aims to promote excellence in research and innovation in Nigeria.
