The Jigawa State House of Assembly has suspended Najibullahi Falalu Tukur, the Chairman of Buji Local Government Council, because of serious accusations of wrongdoing and misusing public money. This decision was made after a report from a committee that looked into his actions. The Speaker of the House, Haruna Aliyu Dangyatin, announced that Tukur must return all government property he has to the Vice Chairman of the council. Additionally, a special committee has been formed to investigate the allegations against him. This committee will look into the claims and report back to the House for further action.
