During the discussions, they looked for ways FIFA could help strengthen football in Nigeria, especially to create better opportunities for young players. Infantino emphasized the need for better structures and clearer paths for youth development in football. He also wished good luck to Nigeria's women's youth teams, the Falconets and the Flamingos, as they prepare for upcoming FIFA tournaments. Infantino thanked the Nigerian delegation for their ideas and enthusiasm, expressing hope for ongoing collaboration to improve football in Nigeria.
