A 27-year-old man named Lucasz Dabrowski has been sentenced to 17 months in prison for damaging his former boss's home and car due to a disagreement over his pay. On May 4, Dabrowski used a traffic cone and a hammer to break windows and cause damage to his boss Abrar Mohammed's house, which is a protected historical building. He also smashed the windows of Mohammed's car, leading to a total of about £14,000 in damages. Dabrowski was upset because money had been taken from his wages, and he felt that his boss had taken advantage of him. This wasn't the first time he had caused trouble; just three days earlier, he had already damaged the property and had to be talked down by police while on scaffolding outside. After being arrested and released on bail, he returned to the property and caused more damage. In court, he pleaded guilty to several charges, including criminal damage and assaulting a police officer. The judge also issued a two-year order preventing him from contacting his former boss.
