Dawn Ottewell, a 68-year-old woman from the UK, is upset because her 31-year-old Nigerian husband, Bright Emokpae, has disappeared after moving to the UK on a spouse visa. They separated briefly in late 2023 but got back together six months later. Dawn took a cruise in late 2024 and found out that Emokpae had left while she was away. He has since blocked her on social media and she hasn't been able to contact him. Dawn believes he might be living in Scotland and possibly running an online clothing business. She is worried he won't sign divorce papers because he wants to keep his visa. Dawn, who has health issues, fears that if she dies before the divorce, Emokpae could take her belongings, including money and jewelry, which should go to her children. She is now seeking help to find him and finalize the divorce. She warns others to be careful when marrying someone from abroad, as some may be more interested in getting a visa than in a genuine relationship.
