Lamine Camara's planned transfer from Monaco to Chelsea for £47 million fell apart on the last day of the transfer window. However, Balogun rejected the move after undergoing a medical, which led Monaco to back out of Camara's transfer as well. This left Chelsea frustrated, as they could not finalize the deal before the transfer window closed. Kamara emphasized that player interests should be considered in transfers, not just the agreements between clubs. He called for changes in the transfer system to ensure players have more control over their careers. Now, Chelsea's manager, Xabi Alonso, is facing a shortage of midfield players due to injuries and will have to wait until January for another chance to strengthen the team.
