KKR has launched a new $10 billion project focused on AI called Helix Digital Infrastructure. They have recently hired two key executives to help lead this venture. Adam Selipsky, who used to be the head of Amazon Web Services, is the CEO. The first hire is Jonathan Lin, who will manage the strategy and operations for data centers. He previously worked at Equinix, a company that operates data centers. The second hire is Kleber Costa, who will oversee the power and energy aspects of the project. He was formerly the chief commercial officer at AES, a power company. This new team is expected to help KKR make significant advancements in AI infrastructure.
