In Nepal's Nuwakot district, a strong green house survived a massive flood that destroyed many nearby buildings and vehicles. This house, owned by a man named Prakash, stood firm due to its solid foundation and high-quality materials used in its construction about 40 years ago. Prakash mentioned that they made the house strong on purpose because it is close to the Trishuli River. During the flood, Prakash and his family had to climb to the top of their house as the water rose to the fourth floor. They were trapped for about an hour before being rescued by people nearby. Although the lower part of the house was damaged and many belongings were lost, the house itself remained mostly intact, becoming a symbol of resilience amid the destruction.
