The Kaduna State Traffic Laws Enforcement Agency (KASTLEA) has denied claims on social media that three girls died in a road accident in Kaduna. The incident happened when KASTLEA marshals were checking vehicles on Ali Akilu Road. A commercial bus tried to avoid another vehicle being stopped by the marshals and ended up having an accident, causing some passengers, mostly young girls selling corn, to get hurt. KASTLEA stated that no one died in the accident, and the bus driver did not suffer any serious injuries. The agency's leader, Carla Abdulmalik, urged people to stop spreading unverified information online, emphasizing that the girls only had minor injuries and were treated before being returned to their father. The bus driver, Mustapha Ibrahim, also confirmed that the reports of deaths and serious injuries were false.
