The Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has started the process of paying N3.82 billion in gratuities to 985 retired workers. This payment will help retirees who have been waiting for their money, including 509 from the 2020 group and 476 from earlier years between 2015 and 2019. The governor has promised to settle all outstanding gratuity payments before his time in office ends.
