An official from Abia State, Okey Kanu, clarified that the state did not purchase two Toyota Hilux trucks for ₦1.3 billion, as some reports suggested. Instead, he explained that a review of financial records showed that the state actually bought 12 Toyota Hilux vehicles for about ₦1 billion.
