The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced the results for the June/July 2026 exams. A total of 79,504 students passed, earning five or more credits, including English and Mathematics. This means about 81% of the 97,867 students who took the exams did well. This year, 100,069 students registered for the exams, which is an increase from 92,876 last year. The results show that 89,580 students, or about 91.5%, got five credits or more, whether or not they included English and Mathematics. This is an improvement compared to last year's pass rate of 83.3%. The NABTEB Registrar, Dr. Mohammed Aminu Mohammed, highlighted that this progress reflects the hard work of students, teachers, and parents. Additionally, 24,128 candidates were certified as craftsmen. The exams took place in 2,144 centers across the country, but there were 847 cases of cheating reported.
