An 18-year-old named Clement L was arrested in France for allegedly planning to kidnap Kylian Mbappe, a famous football player. He was reportedly directing this plan from prison using two mobile phones. Along with Mbappe, 25 other wealthy people, including footballers, rappers, and businessmen, were also targeted. Clement L was already in prison for previous crimes, including robbery and pimping. Even while incarcerated, he continued to communicate and give orders through Snapchat under a different name. Authorities found a list of the targets on his phones, which provided important information about the plot. When questioned, Clement L denied being the mastermind of the kidnapping plan and expressed a desire to continue his education to become a chef. However, his request to leave solitary confinement was denied as the investigation is still ongoing.
