Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has stated that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu understands the difficulties Nigerians are currently facing due to economic changes. During a meeting with members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), he explained that while some economic signs are getting better, many ordinary people have not yet felt these improvements in their daily lives. Sule mentioned that President Tinubu has instructed governors to focus on essential services for rural communities, such as building roads, providing water and electricity, and creating job opportunities. He highlighted that even though Nigeria's foreign reserves have increased significantly, many citizens do not see how this affects them directly. To help with the situation, the Federal Government has allocated $1 billion for projects aimed at improving rural infrastructure and supporting communities. Sule also noted that Nasarawa State has seen a rise in federal funding, allowing the state to undertake more projects without needing to borrow money. He emphasized that these financial improvements are leading to visible developments in the state.
