The Commissioner also mentioned that the police would increase efforts against various crimes by deploying resources based on crime patterns. He aims to shift from just responding to crimes to preventing them through intelligence and technology. Erale encourages the public to help by reporting any criminal activities, promoting the idea of “If you see something, say something.” He recognized the work of his predecessor and expressed his intention to build on past successes while tackling new security challenges with determination.
