The Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) halted its four-day positive run as the market capitalisation dropped by N40.99 billion, closing at N158.915 trillion. The NGX All-Share Index declined by 63.46 basis points to 246,019.17 basis points. The downturn was attributed to profit-taking in Access Holdings Plc and 28 other quoted companies. Sectoral performance was mixed, with the banking sector declining by 0.6 per cent.
