The Zamfara State government has started preparing for its 30th anniversary celebration by forming a special committee. The committee is led by the Deputy Governor, Mani Mumuni, who urged all members to work together to create an inclusive and memorable event for everyone in the state. During the first meeting, which took place on Thursday, many important figures from politics, public service, traditional leadership, education, and religious groups attended. The Deputy Governor thanked the members for taking on this important task on behalf of the Executive Governor, Dr. Dauda Lawal Gamjin Gusau. He reminded everyone that Zamfara State was established on October 1, 1996, and that it was created to promote development, peace, identity, and prosperity for its people.
