The crisis in the Allied People's Movement (APM) has deepened as aggrieved members instituted two lawsuits at the Federal High Court in Ibadan, Oyo State. The first suit was filed by 33 candidates who emerged from a primary election for the upcoming local government election, seeking to stop OYSIEC from monitoring any other primary. The second suit, filed by Musibau Olayiwola, an elected Zonal Vice Chairman, seeks the nullification of the party's national convention held in Bauchi and calls for a fresh convention.
