Conflict Trauma: Eight in 10 Displaced Nigerian Children Suffering PTSD, Says FG

The federal government has revealed that nearly eight in ten displaced Nigerian children suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and over four in five experience depression. Minister of Humanitarian Affairs Dr. Bernard Doro made this known at a national dialogue in Maiduguri. He warned that untreated trauma could have severe consequences for education, public health, and national security.
