The Organised Private Sector and economic analysts welcomed Nigeria's GDP growth of 4.43 percent in the second quarter, seeing it as evidence that reforms are gaining traction. However, they cautioned that the economy is not yet out of the woods. The Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry described the performance as encouraging but not a sign of complete recovery. The growth accelerated from 3.89 percent in the first quarter.
