FG Orders MDAs to Clear Bureaucratic Barriers to Exports by November as Single Window Phase 2 Sets Out

The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, has ordered Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) involved in trade to complete the second phase of the National Single Window (NSW) and integrate fully by the end of November. Speaking at a stakeholder engagement in Abuja, she warned that the success of the digital trade reform will be measured by how quickly and cheaply Nigerian exporters can move goods to international markets. The first phase of the NSW has generated N12.59 billion in regulatory payments since going live. The initiative aims to remove bureaucratic barriers to exports and improve the ease of doing business.
