The onset of the rainy season has increased malaria test positivity in Oyo State to 42 percent, up from 29 percent in April. This was disclosed by the State Malaria Elimination Programme Manager, Mrs Foluke Adeyemo, during a presentation of the state's second-quarter malaria performance indicators. The rise highlights the seasonal impact on malaria transmission in the region.
