The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) presidential candidate, Donald Duke, has reiterated his call for Nigeria to adopt a two-party political system to reduce political chaos. Speaking in Abuja during a visit by the Council of the Wise of the Savannah Centre for Democracy, Diplomacy and Development, Duke warned that political desperation could lead to widespread violence. He argued that the focus on acquiring power at all costs has eroded democratic values, turning politics into a desperate occupation. The delegation, led by former Chief Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, engaged with Duke as part of advocacy for peaceful conduct ahead of the 2027 polls.
