2027: Secure victory for APC or be removed, Ebonyi gov tells LG chairmen

Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has threatened to remove any local government chairman who fails to secure victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 general elections. He made the statement on Tuesday in Abakaliki while inaugurating newly elected chairmen and vice chairmen of the 13 LGAs. Nwifuru emphasized that chairmen must ensure 100 percent delivery for the APC in their areas, warning that failure would lead to replacement. He urged them to prevent opposition from thriving, stating that 'charity begins at home.'
