A coalition of six opposition parties, including the ADC, APM, NDC, PDP, PRP, and SDP, has proposed a four-year 'Government of National Competence' at a G100 summit in Abuja. The framework includes a single four-year transition term, anchored on competence, integrity, national inclusion, and fair representation. A 'National Reset Programme' would serve as its policy framework, backed by an enforceable Transition Charter. The proposal aims to streamline political competition and address governance challenges ahead of the 2027 elections.
