A union official, Adaraniwon, has explained the reasons behind Uber's exit from Nigeria, alleging that the company played an anti-union and anti-worker role in the country. He claimed Uber petitioned the Federal Ministry of Labour against the union's registration. The union also warned other ride-hailing platforms like Bolt and inDrive to learn from Uber's actions.
