The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) chapter at Jigawa State University has issued a two-week strike ultimatum to the university management. The union is demanding the implementation of the 2025 ASUU-Federal Government agreement and the payment of outstanding arrears owed to its members. If the demands are not met within the stipulated time, the union has threatened to embark on a full-scale strike.
