Uber, Wayve launch London’s first robotaxi service

Uber and British startup Wayve launched their commercial robotaxi service in London on Thursday, with human supervisors still behind the wheel. The service will start with dozens of vehicles and expand gradually. This makes Wayve the first company to offer robotaxi services to the public in London, ahead of rivals like Waymo and Baidu.
