African Collaborations Group (ACG), a strategic platform focused on the industrialisation of sport in Africa, has appointed Fatma Samoura to its Advisory Board. Samoura, who served as FIFA Secretary General from 2016 to 2023, is the first woman and first non-European to hold that position. Her career spans over three decades in sport, development, humanitarian affairs, and global governance. In her new role, she will help advance ACG's projects to originate bankable sport and entertainment districts across Africa.
