Edin Dzeko, the captain of Bosnia and Herzegovina's national football team, has announced his retirement from international football after the Nations League match against Sweden in October. The 40-year-old forward, who currently plays for Schalke in the German Bundesliga, made the announcement on social media. Dzeko, nicknamed 'Dijamant' (diamond), has been captain since 2014 and expressed pride in representing his country.
