Yusuf Othman, President of the National Association of Road Transport Owners (NARTO), has explained why the naira has not been rising against the dollar. He attributed the stability to reduced pressure to import petroleum products, as they are now available locally and can be purchased in naira. This has helped lower the demand for foreign exchange.
