Russian President Vladimir Putin has denied any current plans for additional military mobilisation in connection with the conflict in Ukraine. Speaking at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, he dismissed speculation about a new call-up as Ukrainian disinformation aimed at influencing upcoming parliamentary elections. Putin's last mobilisation order in 2022, which applied to 300,000 reservists, was highly unpopular and led to an exodus of draft-age men. The Kremlin has repeatedly denied plans for another mobilisation.
