Students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko (AAUA), blocked major roads around the institution on Thursday to protest the 68-day strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU). The protest, led by the Students' Union Government, shut the university's main gate and connecting roads, causing significant traffic disruption. Placards carried by the students included messages such as 'Every pending graduate, shey na our lives be these?' and 'Enough is Enough.' The SUG President, Comrade Folagbade Greatness Ayoola, said students could no longer remain silent over the prolonged closure and called for urgent intervention to resolve the strike.
